ABOUT THE WEDDING...
Chris is a photographer from the same area that I'm from in Louisiana. A while back a few photographers met up at Rotollo's in Shreveport... so long ago that I didn't really think much of the little comment that Chris made. He said "When I marry Heather, you're going to be my photographer" in front of all of these amazing photographers. I was flattered, but sure he would find someone else by the time they actually got married, right? Nope, they finally picked a date & Chris messaged me! It's always an incredible compliment when another photographer picks you to photograph their wedding day!
They had decided on a very small ceremony only 45 minutes from where I moved in Arkansas, Lookout Point Inn in Hot Springs! I was immediately excited for the opportunity! Lookout Point Inn is right there on Lake Hamilton so it was an incredible setting for an intimate ceremony! The lake was so peaceful on that Friday & with 26 family & friends in attendance, Chris & Heather agreed to a life together forever. I was so excited to shoot this gorgeous ceremony on film! So was everyone else at the ceremony... I had many people approach me asking about my film camera! It was definitely a move in the right direction when these are the gorgeous images I was able to capture at that sweet little wedding ceremony in Hot Springs.
